The VL53L0X V2 Time-of-Flight (ToF) Sensor is a high-precision laser ranging module that measures distances up to 2 meters. Unlike infrared proximity sensors, it uses the "Time of Flight" of light pulses, ensuring accurate readings regardless of the target's color or surface reflectance. Key Features: Precision Ranging: Measures absolute distance from 30mm to 2000mm with 1mm resolution. Color Independent: ToF technology provides reliable data regardless of the target's material or color. V2 Improvements: Features enhanced signal stability, improved trace routing, and robust pull-up resistors over the V1. Safe Laser: Uses a 940nm Class 1 VCSEL laser that is invisible and completely eye-safe. Easy Interface: Communicates via I2C and includes an onboard voltage regulator (3.3V–5V compatible).
